I love ministry leaders.. and ministry leaders love FREE. So Saturday, April 9th I’m teaching a free training workshop in Northern California for any ministry leaders who recruit volunteers! (Thanks Youth for Christ for hosting this!)
The training is based off my two Group books on the subject (The Skinny, and The New Breed), equipping ministry leaders to recruit, retain and train today’s “New Breed” of volunteers. The training is only 3 hours in the morning so you can still enjoy most your Saturday.
Spread the word- invite any ministry leaders you know who recruit! (and if you are outside of California, I guess you’ll just have to book me and provide the free training in your area!)
Here’s the details:
RECRUITING & RETAINING THE NEW BREED OF VOLUNTEERS
A FREE Workshop from author/speaker Jonathan McKee
- Saturday, April 9th
- 9AM to Noon, with optional free lunch to follow to network and discuss what you learned
- Collings Teen Center, 1541 Merkley Ave., West Sacramento, CA

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The world of volunteers has changed. But have you changed too? Recruiting volunteers isn’t the way it used to be. People are much more likely to help once for an event or special need. How can I turn these “episodic” volunteers into committed weekly volunteers? How can I ASK without scaring them away? How can I keep the volunteers we have? And how can I make a perfect omelet? Author and national speaker Jonathan McKee answers these questions and more in this power-packed workshop helping us mobilize our “dream team.”
